Honestly, I’m not sure which to choose but I have two. Incidentally, they both occurred while making French silk pie. In the first instance, I was mixing the ingredients and my mixer caught on fire. I politely freaked out and quickly unplugged it. The fire extinguished shortly after and I bought a new mixer.
In the second instance, I was supposed to use room temperature butter but my only butter was cold and hard. I decided to put it in the microwave for 15 seconds before using it. Voila: French silk soup.
If it isn’t obvious, no matter how much I enjoy making foods, I am not a baker.
